Scrum half Lewis Jones earned his first senior contract in 2012 on the back of an impressive period with Pontypridd. He went on to make a 120 first-team appearances scoring 12 tries in the process. Jones joined Dragons originally on loan ahead of the 2021/2022 season before making the move permanent shortly after. The Beddau-born scrum half has gone on to make 26 appearances for the region scoring three tries across his two seasons in Gwent. Jones moves into his third season in Newport ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
