Centre Aneurin Owen is set for an enforced spell on the sidelines after suffering an ankle injury in the United Rugby Championship fixture with Munster Rugby last weekend.
Dragons Academy product Owen - who has made 28 senior appearances for Dragons – sustained a fractured ankle in the defeat at Thomond Park.
The 21-year-old will now undergo surgery early next week before starting his rehabilitation and recovery process. He will miss the remainder of this season.
Aneurin has asked the region to pass on his sincere thanks to supporters for their messages of support.
