Dragons Rugby can today confirm that hooker James Benjamin has joined Greene King IPA Championship side Cornish Pirates on a short-term loan deal.
The 27-year-old will link-up with the Pirates with immediate effect ahead of their 2021/2022 league season in a planned move to continue his transition to a new position.
Dean Ryan commented, “After good exposure in pre-season, it is vital that we find opportunity for James to continue his learning and development in a quality environment. We are grateful to Gavin and his team at Pirates for working with us in this instance.”
Benjamin has made 65 appearances for the region since making his regional debut in November 2013.
