Six Dragons in autumn International action

07/11/2021

Prop Mesake Doge was an international winner with Fiji as six Dragons played across the Autumn internationals at the weekend.

Doge started the game as the Flying Fijians produced an impressive second half show to overwhelm Spain 43-13 at Estadio Nacional Universidad Complutense in Madrid.

Fiji are next in action against Wales who will look to bounce back from a 23-18 defeat at the hands of world champions South African in Cardiff.

Dragons forwards Taine Basham, Aaron Wainwright and Will Rowlands all started the game at Principality Stadium while Ben Carter was a second half replacement.

However, in a tense encounter in the Welsh capital rain it was the Springboks who emerged winners with a late try from Malcolm Marx proving crucial.

Dragons scrum half Gonzalo Bertranou was a second half replacement as Argentina faced off with France in Paris on Saturday evening.

Los Pumas – who now face Italy next weekend - were edged out 29-20 at Stade de France.
