Worthington’s, proud supporters of Welsh rugby, are continuing their partnership with Dragons Rugby for a new season at Rodney Parade.
The deal with their brewery partner is about to enter it’s thirteenth season and to kick off the new campaign, the Dragons clash with Scarlets this Saturday will contest the Worthington’s Challenge Trophy.
Owned by Molson Coors, Worthington’s is the second oldest continuously brewed British beer brand and as well as sponsoring the derby between the two newest coaching set ups in Welsh rugby, new this season the Dragons drinks App will also have the backing of the Worthington’s, whilst a Dragons ticket promotion will run across pubs and venues across Gwent.
Martin Anderson, Regional Director, Molson Coors, said: “We’re delighted once again to announce our support of rugby in Wales and the Dragons.
“The association has worked extremely well for us since it’s inception and we’re proud to be involved with the Dragons this season and support them as they begin a new chapter with Dean Ryan joining the team as Director of Dragons Rugby."
This weekend Worthington’s will also sponsor the Worthington’s Challenge Trophy, which will see Dragons battle it out with Scarlets in the second game of a double-header clash at Rodney Parade, as Dean Ryan’s men fine tune their preparations for the new season.
As well as the brewery rights at Rodney Parade, the commercial partnership with the Dragons will see the Worthington’s logo on the Dragons team kit between the shoulder blades, which will be worn for every match. Customers of Coors venues across Gwent should look out for a new FREE ticket promotion to see the Dragons in action when the new PRO14 season gets underway later this month.
Dragons Head of Commercial Jon Westwood welcomed Worthington’s continued support.

Ticket prices for the Double Header at Rodney Parade between Dragons and Scarlets this Saturday are just £10 for Adults and £5 for Juniors. Buy in advance to save on match day ticket prices, with adult ticket prices on the day £12.
