Dragons trio to face Italians

21/04/2019

Wales head coach Chris Horsman has named his side to play Italy in the final game of the U18 Six Nations Festival at Kingsholm Stadium, Gloucester tomorrow (kick off 16.10pm), live on FreeSports TV.

Horsman’s side have suffered a defeat (against England) and gained a victory (against Scotland) in their two previous games and go into the clash against Italy with just two changes in the front row from the side which dispatched the Scots.

Scarlets loosehead prop Sam O’Connor comes in for Theo Bevacqua while Ospreys hooker Oliver Burrows replaces Rhodri King in a Welsh side captained by Dragons second row, Ben Carter.

"I’m looking forward to see how the boys react to playing a team like Italy who play differently to Scotland," said Horsman.

"We gave a much improved performance against Scotland after losing to England in the opening game of the festival and the boys are looking to finish with a positive performance."
