The sponsorship agreement will see the Valley Water Services brand positioned on the back of the Dragons jersey below the neckline and in addition to the kit branding, the team also enjoy perimeter advertising at Rodney Parade, player sponsorship with Jordan Williams and Jack Dixon, as well as Business Club membership.
The Blackwood-based business offer a comprehensive range of public services across Wales and the West, from property plumbing to groundworks, landscaping, driveways and fencing.
“As a Blackwood business we’re keen to show our support for the professional team for the Gwent region,” Valley Water’s Managing Director Nathan Jenkins said. “We’re big rugby followers and we’re delighted to have a regular presence at Rodney Parade to support the team.”
Valley Water’s continued backing from the stands extended to a recent visit to the Dragons’ training base at Ystrad Mynach where they met their sponsored players, watched the team’s pre-match preparations and were joined for photos by Jordan Williams, Rhodri Williams, Tavis Knoyle and Dragons Head of Commercial Jon Westwood.
The Dragons are determined to engage with local businesses across the region, with the aim of developing long term partnerships that offer mutual benefit.
Head of Commercial Jon Westwood added: “It is fantastic to welcome Valley Water on board this season and to continue working with partners who have such passion for Rugby within our Region.
“The team at Valley regularly engage and support the community game, so we would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their valued support and very much hope that with this partnership we can help Nathan and his team’s continued success and growth.”
