Morgan and Brown Plot Dragons Return

Two of Welsh rugby’s bright young stars, Tyler Morgan and Leon Brown are plotting their return to action with the Dragons after returning to training with the region.

Leon Brown completed a mesmeric rise to the international fold last November, but concussion against the All Blacks has stalled his appearances for the Dragons since and forced him to miss out on Six Nations selection.

The youngster has suffered a frustrating time but has made sure all the correct checks are completed before his return to play, including two visits to a Birmingham based specialist.

Tyler Morgan has also been sat out since October with an ankle injury sustained against the Ospreys, but both players are now focused on getting back for the Dragons to help their regional teammates out on the field.

"It's been really frustrating time for me especially with the timing of it, especially now with the Six Nations coming a few weeks early for me," said Morgan at the WRU Stadium Store launch last week.

"The boys have had a tough few games, so it's been frustrating not being able to get out on the field to help them and make a difference."

The Dragons face four home games on successive weekends through February including a match up with Edinburgh at Ebbw Vale as the region goes on the road before the final home game at Rodney Parade against the Cheetahs after the Six Nations and Judgement Day VI clash with the Scarlets on Saturday 28 April.

"I have had two or three weeks training back under my belt now," added Brown who is looking forward to his opportunity to play at the home of Welsh rugby for his region.

"If I can get back in to the team hopefully it will be my first Judgement Day, I've been watching the last two years so I'm itching to get out there and get back playing."
