The 21-year-old, who has made six appearances for the Dragons, has had an incredible season after featuring for the Dragons in their win against Ulster as well as over 30 appearances for Cross Keys.

Other winners on the night included Ebbw Vale head coach Jason Strange, who won Principality coach of the year. Strange commented: “I am really delighted and honoured. There are some really high calibre coaches in the Premiership with a lot of experience.

“I don’t think that this is an individual award by any means. I think it’s more about the position of the club at the moment, on and off the field. We are heading in the right direction.”
