“The crowd behind us will carry us through!”

Newport Gwent Dragons young gun Tyler Morgan looks to do the double over Stade Francais at Rodney Parade on Saturday in order to secure a home-quarter final.

The 19-year-old centre, who has just been named in Warren Gatlands 6Nations Squad, admits that the Dragons need the support of the crowd for Saturdays match against Stade Francais: "We've qualified but a home-quarter final is really important because the crowd behind us would carry us through!

"We had a very good performance out in Paris against a team that were the favourites for the tournament and also against a very good Newcastle side.”

The Welsh Region are the only side to have beaten Stade Francais in Paris this season and they head into this weekend’s match aiming to do the double over the Top 14 side: "It will be a hell of a game because Ioane is one of the most powerful runners in world rugby and Steyn at 10 controls things really well.

"Stade can be flamboyant but they can also be direct with the pack that they have, carrying hard all over the field.

"We have to earn the right to play wide and cause them to tighten up before we try and go around them."
