Dragons Premiership Select XV name side

Newport Gwent Dragons Premiership Select have made six changes and one positional change to the team that lost out to Doncaster Knights last weekend in the British and Irish Cup.

The Dragons Premiership Select team slipped to second position in the pool after their defeat to Doncaster Knights. The English side travel to Wales to play at the changed venue of Ystrad Mynach in this second round of the double header.

Fullback Geraint Rhys Jones retains his place in the half backs and is joined by Aled Brew, who moves from the centre, and winger George Gasson. The centre partnership sees Barney Nightingale joined by Ebbw Vale player Adam Jones. Its all change in the half back partnership as Angus O’Brien returns from the Wales 7s setup and joins Dragons scrumhalf Luc Jones. 

The front row remains unchanged with props Luke Garrett and Leon Brown joining skipper Hugh Gustafson. The second row also remains untouched with locks Scott Andrews and Adam Brown being named. The back row has two changes made to it as number 8 Harri Keddie is joined by flankers Josh Skinner and James Benjamin.

The replacements bench has two changes made to it as Ellis Shipp and Arwel Robson join Richard Cornock, Alex Jeffries, Ashley Sweet, Owen Davies and Connor Edwards.
