Monmouth U15’s have very recently got back together after not having a team for the past two seasons but their coach Simon Brent through all of his hard work has attracted around 17 boys to the team; who have already played a handful of games this season.
Hugh and Nathan helped to attract boys from local schools and the local area, including the boys from the current team, in order to create and generate interest to increase the numbers.
Coach Simon Brent said, “A big thank you to you and both Huw and Nathan for last night, the boys really enjoyed it with several saying that it was the best and most enjoyable session that they have had. I know that my lad put in extra effort and did not stop talking about it all the way home!”
“To have 2 professional players coaching you is fantastic and as well as the boys learning, I have picked up some really good drills that I can use as well.”
