Dragons & Education Staffing Solutions Achievement Awards
All Newport Gwent Dragons Regional Schools 2012/13
We are delighted that teacher recruitment agency, Education Staffing Solutions are supporting the community department again this season and we have some very exciting schemes planned. The first of which is the introduction of an Achievement Award into all our regional primary & secondary schools.
The award is designed to acknowledge & reward the outstanding efforts of a nominated student.
The selection criteria is to include, whole-hearted effort, application, keenness, enthusiasm, personal improvement, understanding & participation within the team ethic, respect for and working with others etc. - all of which might be displayed, as it were, “against the odds”.
As a result, the recipient of the award does not have to be the most talented sports performer; rather he or she can be someone who, most likely, will have given their very best in school and possibly overcoming considerable difficulties in the process.
Every nominee will receive an achievement certificate & a pair of Dragons match day tickets and all nominating schools will receive a framed certificate for participating in this initiative. The selection panel at the Dragons/ESS will select both a primary & secondary winner each term who will be invited to a Dragons match and presented with a Dragons signed jersey in front of thousands of supporters. On that day we will also provide 20 complimentary tickets for the winning student’s school to share in their success.
This award is an exciting opportunity to reward students in our regional schools and will create a really memorable occasion for the winning nominee and for the schools.
