DRAGONS NAMED FOR WALES UNDER 20s WARM-UP

Newport Gwent Dragons have 3 players in the starting line-up for Wales Under 20s against Japan tonight at St Helen's, Swansea (KO 7.15 pm)

Newport Gwent Dragons have 3 players in the starting line-up for Wales Under 20s against Japan tonight at St Helen's, Swansea (KO 7.15 pm).

New Dragons signing Tom Prydie will make his Wales Under 20 debut at full back despite already having 4 senior Wales caps.

17 year old Jack Dixon steps up an age grade and is named in the centres for the warm-up match before the Junior World Championships in South Africa. The Dragons final representative in the starting line-up is scrum-half Jonathan Evans, an ever present in the Under 20s 6 Nations campaign.

Wilson said: "This match against Japan is a very important part of our Junior World Championship preparation. It is the first real chance to see some of the players in action who have had little or no game time for us this season, and after a very intense and competitive series of training sessions, that will be exciting to see.

"The game will give us a chance to see almost all of our squad, along with some of our reserve players and give players a chance to stake a claim for places in the starting line-up against Fiji, our opening JWC Pool game.”
