Youngsters from across the region met with Dragons players before the region’s match against Munster on Saturday. The record-breaking youth crowd were able to get autographs and pose for photos next to the Triple Crown trophy at the match.

Dragons Community Manager Mike Sage said “We were delighted with the number of groups who joined us for this game.
“Our community schemes are designed to make regional rugby accessible to schools and junior clubs across the region and it was great to have so many with us at the weekend.
“To date nearly 40 different schools and teams have been involved in the scheme and have been at Rodney Parade to support the Dragons this season including:
Abertillery RFC, Always school, Bassaleg School, Brynmawr School, Caerleon Lodge, Caerleon School, Caldicot RFC, Gaer School, Garndiffaith Under 8s and Under 9s, High Cross School, Junior Supporters Club members, Llantarnam School, Llanyrafon Primary School, Magor School, Malpas Court, Nant Y Park Primary, Newport High School Old Boys Under 8s, Under 9s, Under 10s, Under 11s, Under 12s, Pembroke School, Pentrepoeth School, Pill Harriers, Pippins Community , group, Pontnewydd Primary School, Pontygoff School, Rhymney RFC, Rougemont School, St Julians Primary, Tredegar School, Undy Academy, Usk RFC, West Mon School, Woodlands Primary School, Ysgol Ifor Bach Primary.
