Dragons players were seen out and about last month when they opened the new Quoits Wood Crossing in Caerphilly. Players Andrew Coombs, Steffan Jones, James Leadbeater and Gethin Robinson joined pupils from Markham Primary school for the official opening of the new bridge.

The Quoits Crossing Bridge links Blackwood and Markham on National Cycle Network Route 467. The charity Sustrans is working with local authorities to create an additional 100 miles of new green paths across the south Wales Valleys.

Counciller Rob Gough, Caerphilly CBC cabinet member praised the project, "We are delighted to have working in partnership with Sunstrans Cymru to deliver this impressive project and I;m sure this safe, sustainable route will bring benefits to the whole community."
