Kingsway Shopping Centre in Newport is offering all shoppers the first 2 hours of car parking free of charge from November 1st to January 31st 2011 inclusive.

Kingsway Shopping Centre in Newport is offering all shoppers the first 2 hours of car parking free of charge from November 1st to January 31st 2011 inclusive. In a bid to encourage shoppers to enjoy the Centre’s retail and entertainment facilities right through to the post-Christmas sales, Kingsway has also reduced its longer term parking rates to just £2 for 2-5 hours and £4 to park all day long.

Kingsway is hoping to encourage visitors to the Centre to enjoy the wide variety of retail options on offer. In 2010, seven new retailers have started trading at the Centre making it a great place to buy Christmas gifts from jewellery to clothing, beauty products to personalised child’s presents and all with relaxing coffee break or lunch options to break up the day.

The Centre is also playing host to a range of Christmas themed activities throughout the festive season.
Santa’s Grotto arrives on November 18th and will be in situ right up until Christmas Eve. You can bring your families along to meet Santa and purchase a gift and /or photo session. Even better, all proceeds from the grotto will go to support the St David’s Foundation. Sigmund the Reindeer will be visiting the mall on December for some festive fun on December 4th. On 18th December, children are invited to come along for an arty party craft event to get into the Christmas spirit and enjoy a bit of creativity in their Christmas holidays.
