The official launch of the Newport Gwent Dragons Sticker Book will take place tonight, 16 December at the Rodney Parade Shop. Dragons players will be manning the shop as part of our late-night Thursday Christmas shopping, and you’ll be able to pick up a copy of the sticker book at a special introductory price of £1. This offer will run up to and including the Cardiff Blues game on 27 December.
Sticker packets will cost £1, and all your favourite players are included. All proceeds we make from the sale of books and stickers will go back into community rugby in the region through the Dragons Community Department, which organises the hugely successful Gateway Rugby and Second Half Projects, visiting schools all around Gwent.
Stickers will be available from Gaer Park Post Office, 113 Bassaleg Road, Gaer; Luxtons Store, 69 Cardiff Road, Newport; Fourteen Locks Mini-market, Rogerstone; Bassaleg Post Office, 34 Caerphilly Road, Bassaleg; Caerleon News, 157 Caerleon Road; B&J Newsagents, 424 Chepstow Road; Parc Golf Club, Coedkernew and The Kiosk, High Street, Newport, as well as at the Rodney Parade Club Shop.
There’ll be some great prizes for our top collectors: the first person to complete the album will win a shirt signed by the first team, whilst the second will win a £25 voucher to spend in the Rodney Parade Shop. Other great prizes on offer include Dragons tickets, the chance to be the mascot at the home game, Cineworld vouchers, Pizza Hut vouchers, rounds of golf for juniors at the Parc Golf Club, and much more. Everyone who completes their album by 31 March 2011 and registers in the Rodney Parade Shop will be entered into a draw to win a signed, framed Newport Gwent Dragons Team Photo.
There’ll also be a number of special edition stickers. Four of these are from our sticker book partners – the stickers are free to collect from their premises if you show your sticker book on collection. The stickers will be available from Parc Golf Club, Coedkernew; Cineworld, Spytty Retail Park, Newport; Pizza Hut, Spytty Retail Park, Newport; and the National Roman Legion Museum, Caerleon.
