Newport Gwent Dragons began their Magners League campaign with a narrow victory against Glasgow in Hughenden on Friday night securing their first win on the road for a season.
The Dragons went 20-0 down after just twenty minutes but staged a dramatic comeback to lead 21-20. Glasgow landed a penalty in injury time to go ahead but Ceri Sweeney then had a penalty chance to regain the lead, he missed with his opportunity. In the last minute of injury time The Dragons were awarded another penalty and this time Sweeney was successful to clinch the win for The Dragons
