The Dragons U20s may be out of the race for a place in the WRU Reebok Regional Championship but they are in determined mood for their game against the Scarlets at Pontypool tonight (Tuesday).

Despite four defeats in as many games with the other three regions able to reach the final then their form of late in losing narrowly to the Scarlets and Ospreys suggests they could well have a say in the final pairing.

Having lost narrowly to the Ospreys last time out, The Dragons entertain the Scarlets at Pontypool with high performance manager Ron Shottle hoping that his side can reverse their recent fortunes and bag a first win of the campaign.
He said; "We couldn't have asked anything more from the side over the past couple of games. The boys have been fantastic but lady luck has not shone down on us at all this season. Hopefully that will change between now and the end of the season."

With a 50 per cent record from their four games to date, the Scarlets trail leaders the Blues and second placed Ospreys who meet each other at Jenner Park, Barry.

A win for the Scarlets and defeat without a bonus for either one of the top two, will throw the race wide open once more.
Dai Arthur, HPM for the Ospreys said, "It's a wide open race and that's great for the competition. Hopefully we will be one of the side's to make it through, but we will need to be at our best."

On Wednesday, it's the turn of the U18s with the Ospreys entertaining the Blues at Aberavon and The Dragons heading west to take on the Scarlets.
