2021/22 SEASON MEMBERSHIPS FAQs:

RENEWALS:

Q. I was a Season Member in the 2019/20 season – can I renew now?

A. Yes, you can! From June 23 we have opened renewals to 2019/20 Season Members. We understand it has been a challenging time financially for all members and holding your seat is very important. To honour that loyalty and support, we are all offering all Season Members the option to retain their seat for the 2021/22 season at the same price you were offered ahead of last season.

Q. How do I renew my Season Membership from the 2019/20 season?

A. We are emailing and writing to all Season Members from the 2019/20 campaign with details of the renewal price and seat we have held. Using your Season Member Reference Number, you can log onto your online account and renew. Alternatively, you can call the Ticket Office on 01633 674990 to renew.

Q. Can I use any credit on my account when I renew my Season Membership?

A. Yes, any credit has been automatically added to your ticketing account and can be used.

Q. How many games will the 2021/22 Season Membership cover?

A. A Season Membership covers all regular season games in the United Rugby Championship and pool games in the European Challenge Cup. If, due to Covid regulations, games are played behind closed doors or limited numbers, the value of the games that you miss will be a pro-rata credit refund. That refund will go onto your ticketing account and can be redeemed for future match and Season Membership purchases.

Q. What are the benefits of a Membership for the 2021/22 season?

A. Dragons Rugby 2021/22 Season Membership includes:

  • Access to all regular season Dragons Rugby home matches in the United Rugby Championship.
  • Access to all Dragons Rugby pool matches in the European Challenge Cup.
  • Access to all regular season Dragons XV/Celtic Cup home matches.
  • Free access to any home pre-season fixture
  • Priority access to any knockout fixtures
  • Discounted drinks at Rodney Parade and opportunities to ‘Bring A Friend For FREE’ to selected games.

Q. Am I able to transfer my Season Membership if unable to attend a game?

A. Unfortunately, Season Memberships are non-transferable and not resaleable.

Q. Can I spread the cost of paying for my Season Membership?

A. Yes, you can! Direct Debit payment option is available to spread the cost of your Season Membership over three equal instalments (October, December, February). This can be done online or by calling the Ticket Office on 01633 674990.

Q. Can I renew more the one Season Membership?

A. Yes, if you are the lead purchaser you are able to renew any Season Memberships on your account. If you have any issues doing this, email ticketing@dragonsrugby.wales or call the Ticket Office on 01633 674990.

Q. How can I pay?

A. Online is the quickest and easiest way to renew your Season Membership and pay via debit or credit card. Alternatively, you can either opt to apply to pay via our Direct Debit scheme.

Q. Where is my Season Membership number?

A. This is listed as Customer ID on your email/letter or previous Season Membership card. Alternatively, you can email ticketing@dragonsrugby.wales or call the Ticket Office on 01633 674990 for assistance.

Q. Can I upgrade or move my seat?

A. You sure can, subject to availability! Upgrade options are available by emailing ticketing@dragonsrugby.wales or calling the Ticket Office on 01633 674990. Due to the ongoing pandemic, our Ticket Office at Rodney Parade is currently closed for visiting customers.

Q. Can I change the name on my Season Membership?

A. Name change is only permitted if you have legally changed your name. You will need to provide proof of the name change. To update your name on the season ticket please call the Ticket Office on 01633 674990.

Q. Will you be selling Half Season Memberships this season?

A. This decision has not been taken yet. We have previously offered Half Season Membership and more information on this will be available if and when the time comes.

Q. I can’t log in to my account. What do I do?

A. Please call 01633 674990 and our Ticket Office staff will be pleased to talk you through the process.

TRANSFERS:

Q. My Season Membership has been transferred to the 2021/22 season. What do I do now?

A. We are aware that we were unable to deliver games to members during the 2020/21 season. Therefore, all Season Members will automatically have their membership transferred to the 2021/22 season so we can welcome you home. We will be in touch with your new membership card and relevant benefits.

Q. What if I want to change/upgrade my seat or membership category?

A. Subject to availability, we will do everything we can to accommodate relocation and upgrades. Please email ticketing@dragonsrugby or call 01633 674990 to discuss your membership further.

Q. I want to purchase additional memberships?

A. Yes, you will be able to purchase additional Season Membership subject to availability from the general sale period. Please contact the Ticket Office via email ticketing@dragonsrugby or call 01633 674990 for further information.

GENERAL: 

Q. When can I buy a new Season Membership with Dragons?

A. We are currently offering renewals for supporters from the 2019/20 season. Season Members from the 2020/21 season have already been transferred automatically to the 2021/22 season. Full details of new Season Memberships, release dates and prices will be communicated ahead of launch in July.

Q. What games are included with a Season Membership for the 2021/22 season?

A. Season Memberships include all home fixtures in the regular season of the United Rugby Championship and home pool European games. Knockout fixtures are not included – although, you will get first refusal on your seat for these games.

Q. When will the 2021/22 season start?

A. The new United Rugby Championship will start at the end of September and full fixture details will be made available first on www.dragonsrugby.wales

Q. Can I come to Rodney Parade and speak to the Ticket Office?

A. Rodney Parade is currently operating as a Covid-19 testing centre for Aneurin Bevan University Health Board with admission for testing by appointment only. Access to the stadium is off limits to the public. Please email ticketing@dragonsrugby or call 01633 674990 to discuss your Season Membership.

Q. What age category do I fall into?

A. The categories for this year for membership are:

  • Adults – Members aged 17-59
  • Concessions– Members aged 60+
  • Juniors – Members aged 16 and under

Q. Can I spread my payments using finance?

A. Yes. Season Members will have the option to spread the cost of their Season Membership(s) over three instalments using our Direct Debit system. Contact the Ticket Office for more information on 01633 674990.

Q. Do you sell Season Memberships for disabled supporters?

A. Wheelchair access tickets are available as well as one free carers ticket (season and game tickets). Please contact the Ticket Office on 01633 674990.

Q. When will we be allowed into the stadium to watch games?

A. There is a growing confidence that substantial crowds will return in Wales by the start of next season and therefore we are preparing to welcome fans back. We remain in contact with tournament organisers, the WRU, along with public health authorities and we will continue to all supporters make aware by email, on our website and across social media channels with the very latest information.

Q. When supporters are able to return to Rodney Parade to watch, what if the stadium capacity is reduced?

A. If stadium capacity is reduced to maintain social distancing, priority will be given to supporters who were first to purchase their 2020/21 membership (e.g. if an attendance of 2,000 is permitted, the first 2,000 to renew will be invited to attend. Figures for illustrative purposes only). This will be followed by 2019/20 renewals and then general sale. A ballot will take place if required for places.

Q. Will I be able to sit with my family and friends when we are able to return to watch?

A. This is our aim and we are confident we will be able to fulfil this by the start of the 2021/22 season. However, there are no guarantees members will be able to sit in the exact seats they have chosen to purchase, but by best endeavour Dragons will aim to sit you in your purchased seat and bubbles close together.

Q. If I don’t get admission into Rodney Parade in the 2021/22 season for specific games, will I get credit/refund?

A. We will operate a pro-rata credit that will be placed onto supporters accounts ready to be used against the value of future season memberships or match tickets for any game in the United Rugby Championship or European Challenge Cup that you miss. This does not apply to any pre-season friendly fixture.

FURTHER COVID-19 INFORMATION

We are working hard to ensure all supporters can return to Rodney Parade for the 2021/22 season. We can assure all Season Members that they can buy with confidence, in the knowledge that they will receive credit for any regular season fixture they are unable to attend due to COVID-19 restrictions which can be used for future memberships or match tickets. Your safety is our absolute priority, relevant measures will be in place to ensure the health and welfare of all spectators when at Rodney Parade. We remain in constant dialogue with the Welsh Government and Public Health Wales and any further information will be provided closer to the fixtures.

Q. What happens if games are postponed?

A. If games are postponed, your Season Membership remains valid for the re-arranged date.

Q. What happens if games are cancelled?

A. Should any URC or European Challenge Cup fixtures be cancelled due to COVID-19, Season Members will receive a credit as detailed above.

Q. What happens to games being played behind closed doors?

A. If the decision is taken to suspends crowds from sporting events due to COVID-19, Members will receive credit on any fixtures played behind closed doors.

Q. What happens if games are played with social distancing or restricted crowd numbers?

In the circumstance where social distancing must be observed, Season Members are not guaranteed their seat they have purchased.

Should crowd capacity be reduced, Season Members will be entered into a ballot and notified by Dragons Rugby ahead of any affected fixture of the outcome. Members from the 2020/21 season will be first to be balloted followed by renewals from 2019/20. If due to COVID-19 restrictions we are unable to admit a Season Member to any given match which was originally included as part of the Season Membership, we will credit your account.

Please note: Season Members who are successful in any ticket ballot and decide not to attend will not be entitled to any form of credit.
