Double Blow Adds To Injury List

Following Saturday’s Welsh derby in Swansea, the Dragons medical team report there are now fourteen first team players unavailable for training this week with Richard Hibbard and Tyler Morgan suffering injury blows against Ospreys.

With no game this weekend, the Dragons’ Six Nations winners have been given recovery time this week and after missing the trip to the Liberty Stadium Elliot Dee is expected to return to full training ahead of the two South Africa away fixtures after suffering a knock to his ribs against Ireland.

Injury Updates – From Ospreys Match
Tyler Morgan (shoulder) – Forced off in the first half against Ospreys, Tyler is awaiting scans on his right shoulder.

Richard Hibbard (hamstring) – Replaced at half time in Swansea after suffering injury in the match, the hooker’s progress will be monitored and assessed ahead of the South Africa trip.

Injury updates – Reviews Scheduled
The medical team have reviews scheduled at the start of this week with Nic Cudd (knee), Ollie Griffiths (bicep), Harrison Keddie (foot), Arwel Robson (hamstring) and Ashton Hewitt (shoulder).

No Injury update – unavailable for selection
Nicky Thomas has a soft tissue injury to his calf, James Benjamin (neck) and Lewis Evans (calf) are unavailable, whilst Aaron Jarvis, Ryan Bevington, Brandon Nansen and James Sheekey continue to make progress with their rehabilitation.
