Rodney Parade hosted its second successful Fireworks night in-a-row with over 7,000 spectators attending, making it a fantastic extravaganza for children and adults alike.

The night’s attractions boasted Fireworks from Cwmbran based Pyrotechnics company Pendragon Fireworks as well as Nation Radio’s ‘Big Welsh Wake Up’ stars Carl Hughes and Rachel Chew hosting the event. The event also had live music acts, with a performance from Port-Talbot singer Joey Devries. A set from X-Factor star Christian Burrows and a finale act from ‘I’m a Celebrity’ star, Jake Quickenden.

As well as the Fireworks and musical acts, spectators also enjoyed fairground attractions including rides, trampolines and games stalls.

Rodney Parade’s Commercial Director Pete Grzonka commented: “We are thrilled that the evening went off with a bang for the second year running at Rodney Parade.

“It was fantastic to see so many families enjoying themselves watching the fireworks, live music and attractions. As we do with our match-day rugby experience, we are keen to improve our offering and learn as much as we can form attendees. We would appreciate the help from those who attended in completing a short survey.

“We hope to release the date for the 2017 Fireworks Night in a few short weeks.”

Don’t forget that all Fireworks ticket buyers can benefit from 50% off any adult match ticket for Dragons v Edinburgh at Rodney Parade on Sunday 27th November.

To redeem this offer either; Present your proof of purchase at the Rodney Parade Ticket Office (Fireworks ticket or email confirmation) or look out for your exclusive online discount code which will be sent in our Fireworks survey email.
